New Zealand General Election - 19 September 2020 - a call to vote

To all New Zealand citizens and permanent residents who are eligible to vote in the 19 September 2020 General Election and referenda: it is vital that you check your eligibility to vote and your enrolment status online. You can register online; and if you are overseas at the time of voting you can download your voting papers, fill them in, scan or photograph them, and send them back online. 

For those living overseas, you can vote if "you’ve lived in New Zealand for more than 12 months continuously at some time in your life and if you are one of the following:
- a New Zealand citizen who’s visited New Zealand within the last 3 years, or 
- a New Zealand permanent resident who’s visited New Zealand within the last 12 months".
