Announcement: Extension of Auckland's COVID-19 Level 3 lockdown

New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern just announced the extension of Auckland's COVID-19 Level 3 lockdown to midnight Sunday 30 August. Mask wearing will also be required on all using public transport in New Zealand at Level 2 and above. The Prime Minister reaffirmed that New Zealand's strategy is to stamp out COVID-19 whenever & wherever it reappears. Like all countries, NZ will be managing around this disease for some years to come. Here's a report on today's announcement.
