I have been interviewed frequently on issues around pandemic preparedness and response since I was appointed as a co-chair of the Independent Panel on Pandemic Preparedness and Response in mid-2020. The Panel reported in May 2021, but the interest in its report and recommendations continues, and I and other panellists continue to be sought for comment on processes underway to improve pandemic preparedness and response.
